Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action RPG by CD PROJEKT RED, set in Night City. It launched in 2020 and later received major updates, including Update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion in 2023.
¶ Brief Synopsis
The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe.
Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V. Through the story, V can develop skills in hacking, machinery, melee combat, and ranged combat.
The main story follows V's struggle with a mysterious cybernetic implant that threatens to overwrite their body with the personality and memories of a deceased celebrity only V can perceive. The two must work together if there is any hope of separating them and saving V's life.
