¶ Brief Synopsis
The game's main story revolves around Yevhen “Skif” Martynenko and his journey through an alternate version of the Chornobyl Exclusion Area (the “Zone”) 10 years after the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl. Skif is a new character in the franchise who is drawn to the Zone in order to solve the mystery behind the destruction of his home by an anomaly. His focus over the game's main story shifts as he encounters the inhabitants of Zone and forms alliances which shape his views on whether the Zone should be protected or destroyed.
